Jeremy S. Stiffler, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, MTC
Dr. Stiffler is the Director of Clinical Development at Gold Medal Physical Therapy, and is a Board Certified Specialist in both Orthopedic (2007) and Sports (2015) Physical Therapy, through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Jeremy is Manual Therapy trained and Certified (2009) through the University of St. Augustine, Florida. As a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Professional, Jeremy runs the golf fitness and training program at the Gold Medal Sports Training facility. He is also one of a few physical therapists in Maryland who is certified to perform Dry Needling for pain and injury. In partnership with Evidence in Motion for the mid-Atlantic region, he also serves as the Resident Mentor for physical therapists who are seeking Board Certification Specialization. Jeremy enjoys cooking/grilling and helping coach his son's and daughter's soccer and lacrosse teams.
Jill A. Katulka, PT
Jill received her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA in 1988. Upon graduation, Jill worked at the John Heinz Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Since moving to Maryland in 1989, Jill has been working in Harford County in an outpatient setting. Her experiences/interests include treatment of patients with varying diagnosis including orthopedics (general, pre, and post surgical), sports medicine, spinal, and neurological for all age groups. Jill joined Gold Medal Physical Therapy in 2007.
Jill enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She loves exercising and sports of all kinds, as well as being outside, gardening, walking/hiking, skiing, and participating in water sports.
Jennifer Brilliant, PTA
Ms. Brilliant is a 1988 graduate with her A.A. degree in Physical Therapy, from the Central Pennsylvania Business School. She has 23 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics with a special interest in manual therapy. Jennifer spent 8 years studying classical ballet at the world renowned Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She has been teaching for over 25 years, most recently at Dancemoves Studio of Dance for the past 11 years. Jennifer's personal and professional passion is to be a valuable resource to dancers in the areas of proper injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Timothy T. Russell, PTA, CSCS, CSST
Mr. Russell is a 2012 graduate of Baltimore City Community College, earning his Associate of Science with highest honors in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Tim is also a graduate of Towson University's Exercise Science program. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Certified Senior Strength Trainer, (CSST) and is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified. He also holds a certification for Functional Movement Systems (FMS) screenings.
Tim has been an integral part of the Gold Medal team for nine years, and Site Director of our Perry Hall location since 2015. His areas of special interest include sports conditioning/performance through functional screenings and injury prevention programs, geriatrics, neurological conditions, and vestibular rehabilitation. Tim passionately promotes lifetime wellness, and enjoys spending time in the sports community, officiating as an umpire in youth baseball. He enjoys golf, running, hiking and baseball, and is a huge Ravens and Orioles fan. Tim spends his free time with his wife, Whitney, and their dog, Alfred.
Joe A. Jones, PTA
Mr. Jones earned his PTA degree from the Baltimore City Community College along with an Associate degree in Applied Science. Joe's treatment style is personable, as he treats each patient as an extension of his family by making them feel comfortable, and providing the best quality care possible. His physical therapy interests including sports related injuries, injury prevention, manual therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and neurological disorders. He is currently looking to grow as a clinician through CEU courses, continuing education, and mentoring fellow team members. Joe has been a part of the Gold Medal Team since 2013, and is a huge Baltimore sports fan. He enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking, hiking, fishing, crabbing and boating. Joe is a newlywed and spends his free time with wife, Allie, and their dog, Cali.
Lindsey L. Meyer, PTA
Lindsey is a graduate of Cecil College, earning highest honors in the inaugural PTA program. She is also of the recipient of the of PTA Department Award, and Outstanding Leadership Award. While at Cecil, Lindsey served as class president, and was the driving force behind a 2-mile Fun Run, with proceeds donated to Special Olympics. Lindsey is an OPTAVIA Health Coach and is Nationally Certified by WorkWell. She is continuing her education at Wilmington University, with her sights set on a DPT program. A New Jersey native, Lindsey moved to Maryland in 2010 with her husband and two Golden Retrievers, Isabella and Samuel. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, climbing and boating.
Chad Blomquist, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Blomquist earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed a rigorous post-professional Orthopaedic Residency Program with the Evidence In Motion organization that culminated in passing a board examination to become a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS). This means that he has advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills specific to the orthopaedic realm of care. Only 6% of practicing therapists in the United States have achieved Board-Certification in Orthopaedics. Chad is also certified to perform trigger point dry needling in the state of Maryland.
Chad believes that everyone is capable of improving their quality of life, and is committed to helping people work toward their personal goals using patient education, exercise, and hands-on care. He is convinced that lifestyle choices play a large role in overcoming pain and increasing function and integrates that understanding into his practice. Ultimately, his goal is to foster independence by teaching people how to care for themselves to become better, stronger, faster, and less stressed.
Chad has a special interest in working with folks involved in Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, and/or those with a general interest in strength training.
Richard Lawrence, PT, DPT
Dr. Lawrence earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Towson University, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College. Richard is currently pursuing his Orthopedic Specialist Residency training with Gold Medal. Less than 5% of currently employed Physical Therapists in the United States have attained Board Certification (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. An active member in the Maryland Chapter of the APTA, Richard is passionate about current best evidence, and has also achieved certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling through Myopain.
Professional interests include the orthopedic populations, sports and injury prevention, manual therapy as well as mentoring current physical therapy students and becoming a Clinical Instructor. Through ongoing personal clinical education, Richard strives to achieve optimal outcomes through current best evidence.
Part of the GMPT team since 2014, Richard is also Maryland native who is passionate about cooking, hiking and anything involving the great outdoors!
