Kevin T. Murray, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Murray is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland School of Medicine-Department of Physical Therapy, and the E.I.M. Institute of Health Professions. Kevin has over 25 years of experience practicing physical therapy, sports medicine, wellness and fitness and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS). He has extensive experience working with professional and Division I collegiate athletes, and has a passion to bring that level of excellence for injury prevention and performance enhancement to local school and youth athletic programs. His clinical specialties include Differential Diagnosis, Biomechanics, Osteopathic Spinal Manipulative Therapies, and Sports Medicine with a focus on the spine, shoulder, and foot/ankle pathologies. Kevin is also a Nationally Certified Aquatic Therapy Specialist, and a Certified Health Coach through Villanova University School of Nursing.
Consistent with a lifelong commitment to learning and personal & professional growth, Kevin completed several years of additional education to achieve his post-professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), as well as an MBA based Certificate in Executive Management. His principal role at Gold Medal now focuses on developing others to be their personal best, with a goal of modeling our Core Principles:

Kevin lives in Bel Air with his wife and three children, where he enjoys supporting their sports and academic pursuits, and spending time outdoors walking, hiking, biking and kayaking. He is also an active participant with several charitable and philanthropic organizations in order to “Be a Blessing” in the local community.
Jeremy S. Stiffler, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, MTC
Dr. Stiffler is the Director of Clinical Development at Gold Medal Physical Therapy, and is a Board Certified Specialist in both Orthopedic (2007) and Sports (2015) Physical Therapy, through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Jeremy is Manual Therapy trained and Certified (2009) through the University of St. Augustine, Florida. As a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Professional, Jeremy runs the golf fitness and training program at the Gold Medal Sports Training facility. He is also one of a few physical therapists in Maryland who is certified to perform Dry Needling for pain and injury. In partnership with Evidence in Motion for the mid-Atlantic region, he also serves as the Resident Mentor for physical therapists who are seeking Board Certification Specialization. Jeremy enjoys cooking/grilling and helping coach his son’s and daughter’s soccer and lacrosse teams.
Jill A. Katulka, PT
Jill received her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA in 1988. Upon graduation, Jill worked at the John Heinz Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Since moving to Maryland in 1989, Jill has been working in Harford County in an outpatient setting. Her experiences/interests include treatment of patients with varying diagnosis including orthopedics (general, pre, and post surgical), sports medicine, spinal, and neurological for all age groups. Jill joined Gold Medal Physical Therapy in 2007.
Jill enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She loves exercising and sports of all kinds, as well as being outside, gardening, walking/hiking, skiing, and participating in water sports.
Jennifer Brilliant, PTA
Ms. Brilliant is a 1988 graduate with her A.A. degree in Physical Therapy, from the Central Pennsylvania Business School. She has 23 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics with a special interest in manual therapy. Jennifer spent 8 years studying classical ballet at the world renowned Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She has been teaching for over 25 years, most recently at Dancemoves Studio of Dance for the past 11 years. Jennifer’s personal and professional passion is to be a valuable resource to dancers in the areas of proper injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Timothy T. Russell, PTA, CSCS, CSST
Mr. Russell is a 2012 graduate of Baltimore City Community College, earning his Associate of Science with highest honors in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Tim is also a graduate of Towson University’s Exercise Science program. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Certified Senior Strength Trainer, (CSST) and is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified. He also holds a certification for Functional Movement Systems (FMS) screenings.
Tim has been an integral part of the Gold Medal team for nine years, and Site Director of our Perry Hall location since 2015. His areas of special interest include sports conditioning/performance through functional screenings and injury prevention programs, geriatrics, neurological conditions, and vestibular rehabilitation. Tim passionately promotes lifetime wellness, and enjoys spending time in the sports community, officiating as an umpire in youth baseball. He enjoys golf, running, hiking and baseball, and is a huge Ravens and Orioles fan. Tim spends his free time with his wife, Whitney, and their dog, Alfred.
Sarah E. Groschan, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Groschan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS). She completed her Orthopedic Residency Program in Partnership with Evidence in Motion (EIM Institute of Health Professions), here at Gold Medal, and has earned the distinction of being one of the top clinicians in the country. Less than 5% of all currently employed Physical Therapists in the United States attain the distinction of Orthopedic Certified Specialist.
Sarah is a passionate and skillful therapist, dedicated to the continual pursuit of personal and professional growth. Her areas of interest include the management of postural dysfunctions and balance disorders, as well as spine, shoulder, and knee rehabilitation.
Sarah is a Baltimore native who loves to cook so much, that in another life, she might have been a chef! Sarah spends her free time with her groom-to-be, Ricky, and their dog, Nellie. She also enjoys playing golf, and painting pottery. Sarah is very close with her family and her weekends include playing cards, watching movies, and cooking dinner, often with her twin sister and her brother.
Christy Draper, PT, MPT
Christy comes to Gold Medal with over seven years of diverse experiences after living in many locations as an Army family. Christy’s broad background includes General Orthopedics, Outpatient Care (children to seniors), Aquatics, Vestibular Rehab, and she delivers care with her trademark pleasant demeanor.
We think her “southern twang” must have come from her time in Savannah, Georgia where she completed her Masters in Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic University. We are pretty sure it did not come from her time at Indiana University, where she graduated with a BS in Chemistry. Decide for yourself as you experience how Christy models the Gold Medal Primary Directive, “Be a Blessing!” She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, 13 and 6 years old, as well as volunteering in the Children’s Ministry at her church.
Faith Reilly, PT, DPT, EP-C
Dr. Reilly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Faith is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Personal Trainer working with a variety of clients of all ages for rehabilitation and fitness. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Orthopedic Section.
Faith is passionate about orthopedics and has clinical experience working with an active population, active duty military, as well as an acute cardiac population. Her clinical interests include treatment of lower extremity pathologies of the hip, knee, and ankle and is dedicated to continuing her education with planned certification in Functional Dry Needling.
Joe A. Jones, PTA
Mr. Jones earned his PTA degree from the Baltimore City Community College along with an Associate degree in Applied Science. Joe’s treatment style is personable, as he treats each patient as an extension of his family by making them feel comfortable, and providing the best quality care possible. His physical therapy interests including sports related injuries, injury prevention, manual therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and neurological disorders. He is currently looking to grow as a clinician through CEU courses, continuing education, and mentoring fellow team members. Joe has been a part of the Gold Medal Team since 2013, and is a huge Baltimore sports fan. He enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking, hiking, fishing, crabbing and boating, and spends his free time with his bride-to-be, Allie, and their dog, Cali.
